Dates: Competition starts week of Monday 13th October ending Wednesday 17th December 2025

Venue: Veneto Club – Pitch 2

Time: 5:40pm, 6:30pm, 7:20pm, 8:10pm & 9:00pm

Divisions: U7/U8 , U9/U10 , U11/U12 , U13/U14 , U15/U16 , U17 - U19 , 20-35 , Over 35

When: Tentative Schedule below is subject to change, based on the number of teams that register!

Monday: U7/U8 yrs   |   U9/U10 yrs   |   U11/U12 yrs

Tuesday: U13/U14 yrs   |   U15/U16 yrs   |   Over 35 yrs

Wednesday: U17 – U19 yrs   |   20 - 35 yrs 

*Please note some competitions may be moved to different days to assist running of competition where necessary.

*Open Women’s/Girls Teams may be graded in relevant lower age groups if a division cannot be filled


COMPETITION DETAILS

Game Duration: 2 x 20min halves

Strip: Teams are responsible for providing their own strip which must meet the following guidelines:

  • Playing shirts must have numbers on the back. If undergarments are worn the colour of the sleeve must be of the same main colour as the shirt

  • All members of a team are to have a matching playing strip.

  • Long socks

  • Shin guards, to be covered by socks.

  • Football Boots (preferably molded soles but NO long studs)

  • Goalkeepers are permitted to wear long trousers and must wear colours which easily distinguish them from the other players and referees.

  • Strips colours must not clash with other teams. Teams who submit their colours first will be given priority.

  • Penalty points will be deducted if teams do not meet strip guidelines.

Training: Being a tournament, it is the responsibility of the team to organise training and training facilities if desired. Please contact administration if you require a training space.

Age Requirements: There will be a competition league for each age group. Minimum age to participate is 5.

FFA Requirements: ALL PLAYERS in ALL age groups must be FV registered in 2025 to participate in the FIVEASIDE Competition for insurance purposes.  There is NO additional cost to the player or team for this registration if not already. registered.  Please note FFA registration is ONLY available by SELF REGISTRATION.

Team Manager: Each team must nominate ONE team manager. Any team manager must provide their current Working with Children (WWC) card, unless they are a parent of a child in the team they are registering.  Also required is a FFA registration card for every child participating.

Registration: Complete a FIVEASIDE Registration form and return together with payment to The Veneto Club FIVEASIDE 191 Bulleen Road, Bulleen, Vic, 3105. Forms can also be e-mailed to fiveaside@venetoclub.com
